- What's the most interesting place to visit in your town?

   - In my opinion, it's "El Lavadero".

- Where is it?

   - In La Caleta (Salobreña).

- Is it difficult to get there?

   - No, it is not difficult to get there.

- What is so special about?

   - Because in the 50s and 60s women went there to do the washing their clothes, that's why it's called "El Lavadero". Nowadays people go there to visit or fish in "El Lavadero" and swim on the beach. Some people also jump from the wall into the sea as a fun activity.

- When is the best time to go?

   - At night or to see the sunset (is better in summer).

- Do you usually go there with friends?

   - Yes, sometimes I go there with friends.

                                                                      COMMENT 21 Hello! Today I’m going to talk about the blackout. On Monday, April 28th, 2025 at 12.30 p.m I was in a biology class when there was an power outage. My classmate and I thought it was a temporary power cut until we realised there was no electricity in the whole country. It was a real mess: the traffic lights weren’t working, and some supermarkets were closed because the fridges and freezers weren’t working.
