Today I’m going to talk about summer: For me summer is my favourite season in the year because it’s warm, we go to te beach, we play football in the sand and we enjoy it. This summer I’m going to travel to Lisboa with my family. Summer is a good time to relax because we have made an effort at school. In my town we celebrate “La Virgen del Carmen” on 16th July and we enjoy it because there is a party.

Today I’m going to talk about living in the city or in the countryside, its advantages and disadvantages.  On the one hand, living in the countryside has many advantages. There is no noise and it is calm. You can see the sky and the stars at night because there isn’t any light pollution and you know You know everyone who lives there   On the other hand,  there are also some disadvantages.  For instance, there aren't any/many supermarkets or medical services, so you have to go to the nearest town/city to solve these difficulties.                                                                            Writing 14  A Tsunami in Salobreña. By Javier There was a terrible tsunami in Salobreña last summer. My family and I were on the beach when it began. I was drinking juice with my family when the water in the sea began to go back. Alarms began to ring and we began to run to a safety place. While the tsunami came, I saw a lot of people running and I was frightened. After the tsunami there were a lot of houses broken, then the firefighters and the police came and the medical services were helping the people affected. They could see the tsunami before the disaster and didn't say anything to us.

Nowadays there are a lot of animals that are becoming extinct because we cause this: - Loss and destruction of habitat - Climate change - Invasive species - Pollution - Diseases How serious is the situation? The current extinction rate is much higher than at any other time in modern history. It is estimated that up to 150 species may disappear every day. We need to stop it.

The spring characterizes:  - Mild temperatures: neither intense cold nor extreme heat. - Longer days. - Blooming plants: trees start to grow.                                                                         COMMENT 22  Hello! Today I'm going to talk about the film Back to the Future. It is really good fun and exciting movie. Marty McFly is a teenager who accidentally travels back in time and has to fix the past to save his future.The film is  full of action, and cool ideas like the famous DeLorean Time Machine. Once he is in the past, Marty meets his parents when they were young and he must make sure they fall in love or he will disappear. In my opinion, you can really enjoy this film because the story moves fast, the characters are memorable and the adventure keeps you interested from start to finish.

                                                                        COMMENT 21  Hello! Today I'm going to talk about smoking. Smoking is an addiction that it is very dangerous for people.It can cause lung heart, brain and health problems. Lately, many young people start smoking when they are 12 years old. Teenagers start smoking because friends who smoke can look ''cool'' or because teens often want to fit in with a group. Stress and anxiety can make teenagers start to smoke. In my opinion, this is bad, but; if tobacco and vapes are not sold to people under 18, how do younger teenagers get them?

I'm going to talk about a frightening story: This happened in 1920 in the church of La Caleta, I was reading a book when I heard a strange noise. At that time, I was alone. Becases this happened at night, I was feeling scared. In the end it was a man who was stealing the bell from the church.

                                                                                WR12  A Common Teen Issue: Social Media Social media are one of the most common issues for teens in the world. Teens think social media are a game, but it is very-very dangerous! Because on internet there are bad people, who make bullying to other people. There are cases in which people commit suicide, because bad people make bullying to these people. In my opinion, we should never post a photo with our face, because bad people can make us feel sad, worried and lonely.

                                                                                  WR10  A great place to visit! by Javier  Are you looking for a great place to visit? Then go to Sierra Nevada in Granada, Spain. I was there with my old school last year and I really recommend it. Sierra Nevada is one of the highest mountain range! There is a lot of snow on top of it. They've got a Ski resort and fun activities. You must be tall enough, at least 1.4 meters to enjoying skiing. I suggest you take skiing equipment because it is cold. In my opinion, Sierra Nevada is one of the best places for all the public. It's fun to go with your family. But make you sure your friend isn't too afraid or nervous to be trapped for a long time.

                                                                                  WR09  - What's the most interesting place to visit in your town?    - In my opinion, it's "El Lavadero". - Where is it?    - In La Caleta (Salobreña). - Is it difficult to get there?    - No, it is not difficult to get there. - What is so special about?    - Because in the 50s and 60s women went there to do the washing their clothes, that's why it's called "El Lavadero". Nowadays people go there to visit or fish in "El Lavadero" and swim on the beach. He was a famous writer in his time and is known worldwide for some of his novels: "La cueva de Salamanca", "El rufian dichoso", "El gallardo español"... "El Quijote" is his novel known worldwide. Some curiosities: Miguel de Cervantes was a soldier and participated in "La Batalla de Lepanto" where his left hand remained motionless and he was recognised as "The Manco of Lepanto"

I think the cars of the future would be crazy if they could fly, or if the trains were like teleporters or things like that. Travelling in a flying car would be faster than nowadays, but at the moment it would be impossible because, How can we control the air traffic?                                                                         COMMENT 17 Hello! Today I'm going to talk about "shoot out when the class is over" For me, this is rude because I'm in the same hurry as everyone else and I'm the last person to leave the classroom. They don't put the chairs on the desk, except some of them, and they also leave papers lying on the floor and more than once the cleaners have put warnings on the board about the organization and cleanliness of the class. It is very important to keep the classroom clean and tidy.

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon on 23rd April, 1564 and he died on 23th, 1616. He was a famous English writer who wrote very famous novels such as: -Romeo and Juliet  -Hamlet -King Lear -Otelo -Macbeth Some curiosities: A prolific playwright who invented more than 1,700 words in English, wrote 37 works and 154 sonnets, and married at the age of 18 with Anne Hathaway.
